Go Broncos!

Jeremiah and Troy received tickets to the Broncos Chiefs game for Christmas.  They left from Wyoming so exctied Sunday morning.  Jeremiah was pulling for his team , the Broncos while Troy, being a Kansas boy wanted the Chiefs to win.  They had been teasing each other since Christmas morning building the excitement for the game.

Lexi rode with them to Denver and spent some time with Aunt Mimi and Harlynn.  Jeremiah and Troy met Grandma Gayle and Grandpa Dale and they headed over to Invessco Field.

That's one happy 7 year old!

They both had a BLAST and will remeber this day for years to come!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for this special day!

Yes that's right the Chiefs won 44 to 24.  Jeremiah was a little disappointed, but was a great sport. He even wore a Chief's jersey to school the next day since he lost a bet with Grandma.  He came home and told Troy he had to explain why he was wearing a Chief's jersey so he didn't get picked on at school.  Some of the older boys at school told him it was just not cool to wear a Chief's jersey in Bronco's country.  Of course it was all in good fun and he knew it.

Troy will never let Jeremiah forget that the Chief's won this one.  Don't worry Jeremiah, we have to let them win evey now and then so they keep coming back for more, we'll get them next year!

Wyoming

The 2nd week of Christmas break the kids and I went to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa in Wyoming.  I delivered phone books in feet of snow while the kids enjoyed time with Grandma.

Troy came on Thursday night so we could ring in the year new together.  We spent New Years Day delivering phone books and seeing some interesting sights in lovely Wyoming.

A antelope running down the street.  And where there are antelope there is antelope poop everywhere.

These llama, which were in someones back yard appeared to be just as interested in me as I was in them.

We got to visit several beautiful ranches.

The last night Grams, Pops, Uncle Weber and Uncle Garrett were in town we went to Fondue to celebrate a great week together.

The gondola ride was a little chilly but these blankets kept us warm.

Cute as can be and ready for some yummy food.

1st the veggies and cheese.

Then a little chicken dancing.

Love you Uncle Garrett!

Miles was spreading the love all night.

We love you Grams and Pops!!!  Thanks for a great week!!

And finally came the part we had all been waiting for, chocolate.

Chocolate Village

We had a chance to check out the chocolate village in Keytone.

Made with over 250,000 pounds of chocolate including a working gondola, chocolate waterfall and a 6 foot tall white chocolate Christmas tree this village is pretty impressive.

So many little details to check out.

Hand blown sugar ornaments, chocolate nutcrackers, and chocolate presents oh my.

Merry Christmas

On Christmas morning the kids were so excited to go upstairs and see what Santa had left, but we were mean and made them wait "FOREVER" while we got the cameras ready, brushed our teeth and wasted time just to drive them crazy.  Awwwww it's fun to be the parent!

Miles thrilled with all his toys.

Look at what Santa left in my stocking.

Christmas morning dreams coming true.

Check out all this loot.

Troy enjoying Miles' excitement.

Time to move on to the presents under the tree.

They had to climb all around to get all the gifts.

What could this one be?

They did great at opening joint gifts together.

Daddy loving on his boy.

After our morning fun we went to have breakfast and open more presents with Grams, Pops, Uncle Weber and Uncle Garrett.

Boys never out grow the cool toys.

Next we headed back home to celebrate with the Vaille Clan.

Everyone get a balloon.

One, two, three let goooooooooo.

"This is MY big present!"

Harlynn watching all the craziness.

After more presents, we all headed over to the Grams' and Pops' for a huge Christmas dinner.

Thanks to all of our family for making this Christmas so special.  We love you all!

Twas the night before Christmas

On Christmas Eve we met Grams and Pops at the park for some sledding.

Grams helps Jeremiah get into the sled before giving him a push down the hill.

Pops it's your turn!

Walking back up to do it all over again.

Grams, you must give it a try too!

It was super cold and windy, but we toughed it out because the kids needed to run off some excitement.

Let's race Jeremiah.

Gammaw and Gampaw invited us over for a little Christmas Eve fun.

Smart Gammaw and Gampaw got the kids a game to play until it was time to open presents.

Don't break the ice was fun to watch them play.

Lexi rocking her chimp.

Gampaw read The Night Before Christmas.
