It was dress like someone in the community day at school recently.

We had a fireman, a solider, and our little doctor had to join in the fun too.

Another day at the park

Miles always asks for some park time when he has had enough of being in the car.

I try to allow him the time to play every chance we get.

Come in my house Mom.

Miles was peeking at me through all the shapes.

I had fun snapping these shots as we giggled.

Making fresh tracks to the swings.

Making snow angels in the backyard to celebrate the little bit of snow we got overnight on October 30.

Making fresh tracks is always fun.

Just enough snow to make angels.

Scooping up all the snow to try and build a snowman.

Miles and I have been busy delivering phone books the last several weeks(with Troy's help on the weekends) which is why I have fallen behind on the blogging. Miles has been a GREAT sport about spending hours every day in the, getting out to "help" every few stops. One day, while delivering at Copper Mountain, Miles spots this park and asks if we can take a break to go play. How could I say no to a sweet boy with a simple request to have a little fun.

Miles pulled out his sand toys and off he went.

Check out all my toys lined up.

Gathering up pine cones to throw in the river.

Halloween 2009

Our Royal Family

We had another GREAT Halloween with fabulous costumes. Thanks for all your hard work Grandma Gayle, we were a big hit!!!

With an almost full moon rising, we hit the streets to get some candy.

So excited to get going!

We joined Leslie and her girls, Summer and Lydia for a little Trick-or-Treating.

It was a race at every house to see who could be the 1st one to ring the bell.

Miles, made the cutest Jester I've ever seen!!!

One cold, beautiful princess.

Waiting on the yummy treats.

And on to the next house we go.

It was a chilly October night so we only trick-or-treated on a few streets, but the kids got enough candy to last for months and we all had a blast.
After that adventure, we went to a Halloween party with tons of kids and adults all dressed in costume. The kids spent the next several hours eating candy, playing games, and running around. Troy and I enjoyed hot apple cider with rum while visiting with friends.

Class Halloween parties

Jeremiah and a few friends at his school Halloween party.

Mrs. Dossett, the baseball star, telling her class how great they all look.

Princess Lexi

Playing the games.

Frankenstein marshmallow heads

When I asked Jeremiah what he wanted to take to his class Halloween party he responded "Frankenstein Marshmallow!" Well of course, Jeremiah.

This is something I guess we will be doing for the next 10 or so Halloweens.

We worked hard to be sure all 60 of the Frankensteins were perfect.

Jeremiah's tray ready for his classmates.

Lexi's all ready to go.

And of course, after all that hard work, they each had to try one.

Carving pumpkins

A few days before Halloween the kids asked for the millionth time if we could carve our pumpkins and we said yes since we finally had the time.

Lexi was pleased with her witch pumpkin.

Now time to roll up the sleeves and get dirty.

Yuck!

You want to carve it, you got to clean it.

Miles, hard at work.

I'll get it out.

concentrate

Handy Manny's tools come in handy alright.

Brothers being silly.

Miles stacked his witch on top of his jack-o-lantern.

Ready for the tops.
