outdoor fun

We set out for a snowshoe adventure on Sunday before Christmas, but when we got to where we wanted to snowshoe, we saw there was still not enough snow to need snow shoes.

So we went on a hike instead.

Lexi loves throwing snowballs.

We went to check out how the fort has held up with all the loggin going on in the area.

Jeremiah and Troy seeing what needs to be repaired.

Have a face fill of snow Mom.

I'm inside the fort, they are repairing the roof.

Jumping off the rocks.

Lex and I in our matching hats.

Miles making his way through the snow.

So remember there was not enough snow to snowshoe, they are on their knees.

gingerbread house

A week before Christmas, we finally had time to decorate our gingerbread house from Grandma.

Troy built the house and put the icing on.  The kids put the candy on the house and into their mouths.

They each got to decorate then eat their own gingerbread man.

Proud of their gingerbread house.

Skiing with Gammpaw

Miles and I met Gammpaw at A-Basin so Miles could show off his skills.  Miles was SO much fun to ski with giggling the entire time.  Gammpaw told Miles to ski to him and Miles would point his skies straight for Gammpaw, skiing right into him.  He found it pretty funny that he could just go fast and Gammpaw would stop him before he fell.

Miles and Gammpaw riding up the Molly Hogan.

Skiing to Gammpaw.

Running into Gammpaw.

Miles wanted to go up the big lift, so we braved it and took him up.  Even the guy behind them was proud of Miles I guess.  Gammpaw and I took turns skiing with him between our legs.
