The Vaille Family

We checked out Allyson's (my sister) family web site and we loved the site and the idea of posting our family fun for all to see! And to have a place for us to relive those memories. So, here we go...

We have had a great winter. We have been going skiing at A-Basin most Saturdays. We take our camping chairs, a charcoal grill, a beach umbrella, burgers, hot dogs and the whole gang and spend the day hang out on the "beach" as us locals call it. We normally meet other families there and we take turns taking runs and grilling with the kids. All the kids love it! And Troy and I love being able to enjoy our mountains and our family.

Jeremiah turned 5 in January and is the sweetest little boy! He attends preschool 3 days a week. Troy and I are amazed by all he has learned in the past year! Jeremiah rode the ski lift at A-Basin all by him self two weekends ago and he was super excited about it. It was only the Molly Hogan (the beginner lift) which was good for me because I could watch him all the way up! I must admit, I had a little bit of a sick feeling watching by baby take off on his own, but as soon as he can down with a huge smile on his face all I could feel was proud. He do a few laps by himself on the Molly Hogan and then Troy took him to the top, this was
his chance to be proud and boy was he. I think everyone at A-Basin that day knew Jeremiah had gone "all the way to the top and skied down".

Lexi is 3 and full of personality! She also attends the same daycare/preschool 3 days a week, her favorite activity at school is painting. I think maybe it is the mess she likes! I guessing this by the way she likes to keep her room. We will clean it together and within minutes it is back to messy! She is super energetic and always on the go. She has been skiing a few times (between our legs) but she prefers to just hang out and play in the snow. Now that it is warming up a little Lexi always wants to be outside. So she spends a lot of time in the backyard jumping on the trampoline and playing.

Miles is 15 months and finally walking! How quickly I forgot what walking intells! Miles is in a new world now that he can walk around and reach things on the counters. He follows Jeremiah and Lexi around tyring to do everything they do. I thankful that both Jeremiah and Lexi adore him, so they don't mine him tagging along.(yet anyway) Miles also goes to the same daycare 3 days a week. He seems to like it okay, but I think his favorite part of the day is when he gets to see Jeremiah or Lexi. My favorite part of the day is picking them up! He gets unbelievably excited when I get to his room and usually gives huge hugs to me, Jeremiah and Lexi.

So, now that everyone is up to date on our fun life here in Summit County with three small children. We will try to update this page once a week with a post and pictures so reminder to check back!
