weekend get-away

Gammaw and Gampaw Wright stayed with the kids over the weekend, allowing Troy and I to escape. Thank you guys!!!

We choose to relax in Hot Sulphur Springs.

Awwwwww, this is great!

The snow that fell for a few days before our visit, made it a little chilly, but we still wore our flip flops, just staying in the hottest tub longer.

Saturday afternoon, we took a nice walk by the snowy river.

The sign as we pulled away from the springs said it all.

Gammaw, Gampaw, Jeremiah, Lexi and Miles all also had a fun weekend together. Jeremiah even lost a tooth while watching TV with Gampaw!

Last night we rode the gondola to dinner at Der Fondue Chessel.

We're only smiling because your promised us chocolate.

Doing the Chicken Dance with Gamma is the best!

Chocolate, was Miles favorite part!

The crazy kids, with bellies full of chocolate had a blast running around Ripper Roo's house way after their bed time!

Thanks Gamma and Gampa for a super fun night!

Warm weather and a muddy back yard prompted us to visit the fort last weekend.

Lexi contemplating the jump off a rock, after all Daddy just did it.

Dad was right when he said the snow makes a soft landing, let do it again!

A new hibachi style restaurant opened! As many of you know ShoGun was my favorite growing up, thanks Dad and Linda for treating us every birthday and good report card!! I couldn't wait to try this one out and with Gamma and Gampa in town, Sunday was perfect!
Fire, magic tricks, throwing eggs, catching food in our mouths! Wow this place is cool Dad!
Gotta try out the chop sticks.

I think we've found a new favorite.

lunch on Green Moutain Reservoir

Sunday, after meeting Natasha the camel, we had lunch on Green Mountain Reservoir.

A frozen lake is the perfect place for a picnic.

Here comes a snowball Mom!!

Clearing off his own spot.

Meet Natasha, our friends' new pet camel. She was such a sweet girl, wanting to say hello to Troy and the kids.

Tazzy is 6 and pregnant with her 1st baby.

The kids also got to ride Scout, the pony.

Jeremiah was the only one that like the ride.

Lexi stayed on Scout long enough to pose for a picture.

Where are you guys going, I want some more attention!

Yawn...it's nap time!

Check out those dreads.

Miles wanted to check out Scout too, but wasn't so sure when he moved.

When we left, the kids asked if we could get a camel too. Troy said no, but we can come back a visit Natasha and her baby when she has it next month.
