Yesterday we took a nice drive to Cataract Lake.

We met Uncle Bryan for a picnic by the lake.

We took a nice long hike.

Admiring all fall has to offer.

Hiding in the grass.

The kids playing in a really old tree.

Being a risk taker is something Jeremiah is learning all about in school.

Anything he can do I can do too!

We have this tree crossing down!

Anyone up for climbing a tree?

Happy 5th Birthday Lexi

Lexi had a birthday party at the park on Sunday.

She had blast opening presents,

and eating cake!

Miles had fun at "Exi's" party.

Jeremiah and Dale rocked out with Lexi's new Barbie Girls MP3 player.

This morning Lexi woke up excited to open the presents that had come in the mail yesterday, so we let her open them in her PJs.

Lexi got to lead her Kindergarten class in singing Happy Birthday.

She had the 1st birthday in her class, so everyone was excited for her!!

On Saturday we rented a pontoon boat and went out for a fall cruise.

Who do you think is having more fun, Daddy or his little girl?

Just chilling.

The aspens are starting to change.

Fog rising off the lake early on a frosty morning last week.

Sunrise after the fog has risen.

A fire cloud sunset later that evening, not a bad way to start and end a long day of work!

Peaceful Monday morning sunrise starts the work week off nicely!

We had a beautiful view of the snow fresh snow on the mountain tops from the soccer fields this morning.

A friend passed down some nice shinny red cleats for Lexi and boy do they help her to run fast!!

She is playing great this year, scoring a goal today, it's gotta be the shoes! Jeremiah help sub for the Water Bugs today since we only had 3 players.

Jeremiah's team, the Wild Cats played a great game too!

Just like Dad, the kids love building with Legos.

Tiger Cubs

Search, Discover, Share - Cub Scouts Motto

Jeremiah and Troy had their first Tiger Cubs meeting at the house last night. I'd said from all the excitement and smiles from six 6-year old boys, it was a success!

The boys enjoyed learning fire safety while building their edible fires.

Learning the Cub Scouts hand shake.

Miles got a hair cut yesterday and it looks great!

Today he started back at the day care one day a week. He was so excited to go back to "my school" styling a new "dinosaur rrrrrr" backpack and lunch box.

Our baby is getting so big!

Jeremiah has been a perfect big brother to Lexi at school, sitting with her at lunch, introducing her to all of his friends, playing with her at recess, and today he showed her the ropes of the school bus. Troy snapped this shot of them walking hand in hand to the bus stop this morning. They may argue over toys at home, but Jeremiah protects his little sister when it is most important!

Lexi, Pondering all the new things learned she learned last week Kindergarten while walking home from school.
