Music Maestros

Last week Jeremiah and Lexi attended Music Maestros, a music camp put on by high school band students. Everyday from 9 until 12 they were with these high schools who taught them Solfège (do re me sa fa la ti do) and introduced them to different instruments.


On Friday they put on a performance for the parents.




Lexi's group of 5 and 6 year olds told the story of Solfège.










Jeremiah's group of sang Happy Birthday in Solfège.





I love how Lexi watched her brother preform.





All the campers singing together.




The kids had a great time learning about music. Jeremiah especially liked his counselor, Ryan, who plays the guitar, piano, and violin.





Amazingly wonderful that these High School students gave there time to run this free music camp!!!!
