Grandma pulled Lexi's tooth right before she was up to bat. She was so proud telling the catcher and coach she had just lost a tooth. The space where the two bottom teeth were is perfect for her tongue.
While warming up, Jeremiah took a pop fly to the face resulting in a little blood, a few tears, a fat lip and a much looser baby tooth.
Soon enough he forgot about the injury and was ready to catch.
That tooth that had been knocked loose fell out while he was catching! He waited for the batter to finish, then he began looking for his tooth in the dirt behind home plate. A few coaches assisted, the tooth was found and applause broke out from the crowd!
2 teeth in one day at baseball games! This is one we will not forget!
Harlynn came to watch the kids play ball(and loose teeth).
She was as fun as the game to watch.
Snow cones after the games, I can't think of a better way to end our exciting morning at the ball field.
Last Thursday the sun was shinning bright so Miles and I decided to go check out a new park.
We played and played and when I was ready to head home to tackle the laundry and dishes, I realized I locked my keys in the car.
So we played some more!
We took a walk down to the lake to check out the boats while we waited to be rescued with the extra set of keys.
After 3 hours of playing at the park, we started for home and my happy, worn out boy fell asleep before pulling out of the parking lot.
After leaving Jeremiah's guitar lessons, the kids asked if we could go play at the park close by. My 1st thought, it's 7:00 on a school night, but the sun was still shinning and they asked so nicely, why not make a stop?
They were thrilled I said yes.
I spent the next hour watching the run and play, thinking to myself, what a GREAT summer we are in for!
