With the car packed to the brim, we pulled away at 9:30am ready for our camping adventure. 28 minutes into our drive came out the 1st "I have to go potty", so we stopped at the top of Vail Pass. I hoped this was the last snow we had top walk around in for the rest of the week. We made this one a quick stop and back in the car we go. Another 50 minutes passed and out come those dreaded words(at least while on a road trip) again, so we made our next stop at one of the Glenwood Springs rest area. The kids were crazy with excitement, so we decided to run around and throw some rocks into the river at the stop. 45 minutes later we were pulling away from another rest area. I printed out a list of all 50 states so we could play the license plate game. Jeremiah played for the 1st 30 minutes, Troy and I played all week, at least it entertained someone. we played car bingo, I spy, sang and snacked trying to pass the time before our next stop in Fruita for lunch. We went to the McDonald's with a Playland and spent almost an hour listening to kids squeal as they climb through the tubes and fly down the slides. Does anyone else wonder why they don't out some sound absorbing object McDonald's Playlands? Everyone, back in the car next stop, Moab! we pulled off of I-70 at 3:30pm, made one last potty stop and filled up the gas tank, now off the find our camp spot. Another hour drive, along the windy Colorado river, we pulled up to camp.

The weather was just as we had hope for, sunny and 60. Lexi was thrilled to be out of the car and running free.
Troy got camp set up while the kids dug in the dirt.

Now time to go explore the area.

Miles, Lexi and Jeremiah are all great climbers.

"This place is awesome!" - Lexi
Jeremiah began singing "Don't worry about a thing, 'cause every little thing is gonna be alright" soon after we got to camp. How appropriate, because that we just how I was feeling, no worries, just time enjoying my family. We all sang it together several times over the week.

"Can we stay in Moab for 12 days?" Lexi asked us as she explored.
Troy brought his rock launcher and everyone got a chance to launch.

As we tucked the kids into their sleeping bags, Jeremiah told us, "This day was more fun then I even expected!"
