Sunday we enjoyed beautiful 35 degree sunny day!

We drove up Loveland pass and strapped on our snowshoes.

Show me the way Dad.

The kids took off their snow shoes and rolled down the hill. The only thing is, if you roll down, you must walk back up. Miles giggled and rolled all the way down followed by the wining and crying the whole way back up only to do all over again!

We played in the snow on his same hill in July of 2008. Jeremiah remembered the area as his Colorado slip in slide. Troy and I were impressed that he recognized we were in the same area as that day in July when we found snow to play in.

So warm, no need for a hat or gloves, oh wait, the snow is cold on bare hands!

While crossing a pond, we had to found out just how deep the snow was before ice. About 3 feet of snow covered the pond.

A shot of the same pond taken on a family outing in July 2008.

They tried to clear it out and see some ice, but there was just too much snow.
