Camping in Moab

On Friday we drove to Moab, UT for a five day camping trip. As we pulled off the highway into a beautiful Moab canyon, Lexi asked "who painted that". Troy and I smiled at each other, knowing then, this was going to be an amazing spring break!

Enjoying time by the camp fire.

We took a trip to Tusher tunnel to do a little exploring.

Slowly, the kids made it all the way to the other end!

To find another amazing view!

And tons on white sand to play in.

Miles was amazed by the side of the rocks, heck so am I!

I really enjoyed this time with just Troy and the kids with no distractions!

The views in Moab are unbelievable!

Let's go find another cool place!

Exploring together.

Everyone did their share collecting firewood for dinner and to keep us warm. The first 2 nights were pretty chili, getting down to 28 and 32, but the days were prefect ranging from 58 to 72.

Bundle up to sleep in the tent.

Jeremiah, Lexi and Troy viewing some Indian Petroglyphs.

Close up of the Petroglyphs

Exploring, exploring, and more exploring this is how we spent our days.

Troy is always climbing as high as he can.

Hanging at the camp site was a favorite past time of mine.

Once again climbing high, only this time Miles wanted to join him. Miles was our little dare devil on this trip, thinking he could climb everything Daddy did!

So many cool caves, and rock over hangs.

Another amazing view from a cave.

Daddy and his brave little boy!

Please pose for me, just one more time(maybe)!

Looking so small against all those huge rocks, but feeling so big!

Let's all see how high we can go.

We had a special trip, making lots of great memories I know Troy and I will never forget! And from the many hugs, smiles, and giggling we were lucky enough to receive from each one of the kids, we know they enjoyed our family camping trip just as much as we did!

Now I guess we must come back to reality, where we still have some snow on the ground and another spring storm is moving through expecting to leave behind 5 to 8 inches of snow, yuck!
